Jill Rubiner Christie, MA
Jill Rubiner Christie has more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience as an executive search consultant and executive director.
A Tuft Associate for eight years before being named President in 2013, she has delivered exceptional talent to dozens of associations, societies, foundations, and universities across the country. Jill advances the Tuft tradition of superior quality, ensuring that every search is tailored to the individual client’s strategic goals and wholly focused on making the right fit for the organization.
Prior to joining Tuft & Associates, Jill spent 10 years as Executive Director of a community-based nonprofit organization, where she managed staff and 400+ volunteers, and worked closely with elected leadership to develop and implement strategic planning, fundraising, and communication strategies. In addition to bringing a unique understanding of the needs of nonprofits at the local level, she has association management experience at the national level. She spent five years in professional staff roles at the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, gaining firsthand insight into the complexities of professional membership organizations.
Jill currently serves on the Advisory Board of Tutoring Chicago and is a member of the National Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants. She also is an active volunteer in school and community activities in her hometown of Oak Park, Illinois. Jill graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She received a Masters of Arts in Sociology from DePaul University in Chicago.
