Jacquelyn C. Bode, MA, CFRE, is the new Executive Director of the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation (AAOF), St. Louis.
The AAOF is the charitable arm of the American Association of Orthodontists and provides support to orthodontic education programs and orthodontic research aimed at excellence in patient care. Bode assumed her new role on March 26.
The AAOF Executive Director search was led by Tuft Associate Mary McMahon who has managed numerous Tuft searches for fundraising and foundation executives nationwide.
Bode previously served as Executive Director and Senior Development Manager for the Christian Hospital Foundation, St. Louis, where she created an annual giving program that achieved a 539% increase in the fund balance over four years. She also founded the planned giving program and secured the foundation’s first planned gift of $100,000 in 2017. She also led that foundation’s largest-ever capital campaign, raising $2 million to improve the cardiac cauterization lab.
